Well, folks, we’ve come a long way. Quite literally, as this assignment is roughly 2,000 words over the required minimum. But we’ve learned a lot from each other - how to live, how to love, how to, if not prevent, be aware of the increasing influence of media on our lives. Right?
Most people would take the quick and easy way out of a seminar follow-up assignment by regurgitating their Power Point presentation into a WordDoc. Most people would do this as quickly as possible so they could go for a bike ride or patio beers or hitchike to the BC Interior to plant trees for the summer.
I, for whatever reason, am not most people. I also had no idea how to use Tumblr before I embarked on this assignment, and for the most part, am still learning. I have a personal Tumblr that I’ve used all of once, and in the process of putting together this assignment, my laptop crashed, so it’s doubtful that I will be back online soon after, at least until I can afford that MacBook Pro I’ve been after.
But enough about me, let’s talk about Tumblr. Actually, first, we’re going to talk about me again.
